Twitter and Elon Mush said to be getting awfully close. Both sides met over the weekend and a deal now seems imminent… a deal could even happen today.
Shares are up on the news—at $50.54. (Still less than the $54.20 ordered but it shows the market is growing more optimistic about a deal.)
Keep in mind — This would be a huge development for the freedom of speech in society today.
Let’s hope that happens. We need freedom on social media. Not just TWTR, but also Facebook and YouTube and Google. It’s getting really crazy out there…. And, lately, except for platforms like this here on Locals… there is a LOT of shadow banning and a lot of restricted speech. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
