The federal Govt has been lying to Americans on 2 major issues:
—Covid will be eradicated. WRONG. We will be confronting new strains for years to come.
—Inflation is transitory. WRONG. This month it spiked again. 7%.
Govts should at least be truthful. Otherwise we run the risk — actually, we’re already there — of no one trusting the Govt. You see it in places like Russia where no one trusts the Govt… who’s to say the US is any difft?
When people feel they’re being LIED to, they stop trusting.
Biden has brought this on HIMSELF.
